Exclamation Fuel leakage

Just recently, i worked on my yz 250 and now that its back together, i have fuel leaking out of the tubing from the carb. By leaking, i mean draining. I didnt touch the carb during the rebuild, only removed the fuel hose. any ideas on how this could happen or how to fix it?

Sounds like your float on ur carb might be stuck....give the bowl a little tap with the handle of a hammer or similar tool...

any other suggestions? I knocked it a few times and nothing really happened...maybe pouring more fuel out. The bike runs fine with this....but something else is wrong

Hit it with a bigger hammer!!!

kidding!!!

Your float is stuck, I'll put money on it. Clean your carb, you'll love the way your bike runs after.
