How are you trying to turn over the engine? Is the kickstarter still attached or are you spinning the counter sprocket? Or did you try to remove the jugs and they won't come off?

I would try and pull the jugs as the base gasket is probably toast anyway and needs to be replaced.

Use Diesel fuel, trust me it works. I had a 1972 Yamaha HS1 twin (among others) that had been sitting for years with no heads, it was rusted solid! fill the tops with diesel fuel and let it sit, every couple of days try to turn it over a little until it turns all the way. It takes somes patience, but it will work.

you should have Denny do some port work on this old motor to bring it to life.

you will have a fun project with the blaster. I did the 1971 R5-350 twin engine in a blaster a couple years ago. It was a blast.
