Default Quad

so i know suzuki had a 250r quad (LT250) and honda had the TRX250 and kawi had the tecate-4 250, but yamaha didnt make a quad did they? they made a trike along with honda and kawi. i was on the bikepics website and i found a YTZ250.

so i didnt think this was factory, it looks like a tri-z 250 frame with a quad front end, but the frame looks either blaster, banshee, or warrior. could somebody tell me if this is yamaha factory or somebody threw a tri-z 250 motor in a different frame? either way i think it looks bitchin, i was just wondering how this was created.

No Yamaha did not make a 250cc two stroke Quad. That looks to me like a Blaster with a Tri-Z motor in it.

i dont know, if you look at it it does look like a tri-z with a blaster front end, but the blasters had that same main tube. but you can see where the exhaust comes out it looks like a trike with a quad front end

there was a company that baught up abunch of tri-z's and accually converted them into quads. There very rare, I believe that dirtwheels did a story on them along time ago. The quads were expensive and didn't catch on.
