Blaster PSI??

My lazy ass actually got some work done this weekend. While I was at it I decided to check the compression on the blaster so I had something to compare it to down the road. I got 140psi, but I didn't have good shoes on and wasn't really putting my all into it while kicking so it might have a little more than that. Anybody else test out their blasters?

I think spec for rebuild time is like 125psi or something like that.... don't quote me on that... but that number seems to ring a bell.

my 04 blaster with less than 10 hours on it has 126psi@1300 feet above sea level.
anywhere around 125 is stock ,140 is definitly higher than any stock blaster should be,must have a cut head on it or a kmart compression tester? does it say"martha stewart living" on the side of it brett?

You seriously only got 125? You did have the gas on with full throttle, right? I just did it on Sunday and got 140 with the one I picked up from Sears last year. It's in good shape and has been back in the packaging since I last used it last summer.

i know what im doin,LOL yes the throttle was pegged and kicked until it read no higher ,126psi stock is normal for 1300 above sea level ,its right on. go to blaster HQ ask youll see,a stock she is the same psi in each cylinder also at my elevation ask at banshee HQ too. my blaster is brand new !!!

I figured you did, but I just thought I'd ask.... hell my blaster is an 05. I don't know maybe I'll do it again. I'm not sure what elevation I'm at here in Lock Haven by the river. Maybe that played a roll in it. I might try rechecking my banshee here because the last time I did it was last summer at my mom's place which is probably different elevation.

I just searched for the last post I did about my banshee's psi that I checked back in September and it was right about 136psi when I checked it there.
