That is some metal mayhem!! I've never seen the gears fall apart quite like that. I've seen chewed up teeth, twisted splines, and I've seen the clutch basket walls gouged out over 1/4"... but never seen the gear just bust apart... cool. That's gonna hit the wallet pretty hard I bet.

I can't believe that gear broke in so many pieces. That's pretty unreal. Seeing the pics, it could have been worse I guess. It won't be cheap, but at least you don't have to replace the side cover.

wow dude that is alot of metal shavings and gouges in that sucker. I bet the shee was making some pretty noises when taht happened...never seen anything quite like that before.

The real question is where do I find the gear, and parts for the clutch assembly?? Dealer wants to sell me the entire thing in one piece? Or should I just hit ebay?

ronnies.com sells parts individually, Flattrack can get you what you need too. I just find that with ronnies its easy to find which exact parts you need
