It's pretty simple just unplug your old one then plug in the new FS. Then mount it up with the supplied mount and if you got the switch mount the switch up somewhere were it is easy to access. i put mine on the rear bumper were there was a tab that I could just sit it on.

Yes water tight the connectors if not you will have my headache. Just wait till you get it installed though your going to be amazed at the difference. Something really cool is take your plug out and test it on you head. You will see a very stronge spark.

Good luck if you have questions just let me know.

I've been looking at the PVL system that replaces the flywheel and all that crap. $400 for the kit is out of my price range right now. I need to get the LT250 done first then I will look at more toys for the banshee.

I think the next thing the banshee is going to get is a +4 swinger and all that ass end stuff. The banshee is feeling like it is going to be hard to keep the tires on the ground.

i think having that ignition button on the grab bar is pretty trick because when your reaching back and flippin switches everybody on a 4 poke immeditly becomes very concerned and thinking" what kind of crazy setup does this guy have?" and "is he about to make my bike look like its tied to a post?" gets them scared!!! i like fear in the hearts of 4 joke owners, also ive heard from alot of drag guys its actually more desirable to gear up than to add to a swingarm length especially if you plan to do trail, woods, and mx riding too.

Well actually with the banshee atleast my banshee the ignition is in the rear. Not sure if others years are located elsewhere. But the swith is less than a foot long so you don't have any real options on where to mount it. I am thinking of trying to make a mount so it comes through the rear of the plastics so you can see it from the top of the bike not just the rear.

Regardless it is a sweet mod for your bike.

As some of you may know I'm looking into buying a banshee...and I'm trying to decide wether the first mod is going to be the DynaTek FS ignition or a set of !rockets! lol

How much is the ignition and what does it do? I've heard only a littl ebit about them but I heard they have 4 different power curves....whats this switch do tht you are talking about mounting and flipping on/off and what not? And are these ignitions expensive?

I also read they have an optional tach wire...would this wire go to the digital tach or could you get a tach like they have in cars and trucks? (the big ones lol)

THe Dyna is not going to do to much if you have a stock banshee. You will see more performance from pipes. The Dyna is great for modded banshee's.

The ignition is like $300 or something like that. There are 4 power curves that change the timing and all of that stuff. There is a stock, Power, Torque, and top end curve. It is nice because the torque curve is great for hill climbing.

There is a hookup for a tach. I think? I know there is a timing hookup that you can hook nitrous up to so it kicks the nitrous at a certain RPM.

It's a great mod but I think your money is better spent on pipes. I think that everyone on the site can agree with me on that.

thats what I was figuring...rockets first and then start building it up...ignition, cool head, 20cc domes, prolly 34 air strykers, pro design intakes, outerwears power lid thingy or whatever, and probably start on the suspension work and what not...

eventually nitrous?? haha who knows
