just wandering what sh** you guys use to glue the grip to knew renthal bars opps girls to sorry if there is some on this sight

I use renthal grip glue im sure you could epoxy them on or something but dont plan on them coming off anytime soon unless you have a knife, a file and a few hours.

I just used that grip glue that you buy for 99 cents. I dont know if the Renthal Handlebars require anything specific though. Try this link Renthal Grip Glue Glue made by renthal should work.

I am with them with the safety wire. I also spray some hair spray in the grip it will slid right on and then put it out in the sun it will setup really nice

I never trusted wire with the twist throttle and ive never had glue let go... If you put it on right and use it right it will hold up real nice until you need to get it off.

99 cent krylon spray paint !!!!!! poke a small hole in the end of the grip for air pressure ,spray inside the grip wait 1 minute for paint to get slightly tacky,then slip it on and get it located exactly how you want it.once on,it is on forever and never twists or comes off ,down fall is grip will need cut(destroyed) in order to get it off. way better and cheaper than renthal or progrip or safety wire and other adhesives ,nothing bonds like generic krylon spray paint on rubber grips IMO.

I am with Jason on this one for the hairspray and wire. I put new ones on new renthal bars last year and I haven't had a problem.

actually i have one the hairspray way (i used to ride freestyle BMX)

safety wire i have done also

and the paint trick

and the glue....

i've even spit inside the grip and wiped the bars down dry then put them on...

but the glue is nice...... and its only $0.99 or so..
