what wiring? you mean the cable? screw the adjuster all the way in. then align the notches (open spots on the adjuster screws) so the cable can come out. pull back (away from the lever assembly) then forward on the casing and the whole thing should kinda swing forward and out of the adjusters. then just look up at the lever from underneath and slide the ball on the end of the cable out of the bottom of the lever. Cable is now off. Unbolt the lever from the perch, or take the whole thing perch and all off the bars. DOne. Reverse these instructions to reinstall the cable to the new lever

man, the TORS system is a pain in the ass. i'm not sure exactly what will happen if you just unplug that wire. it might limit the RPM on the motor, thinking that the parking brake is engaged.

ok heres the deal on the TORS.. unplug the clutch lever plug, the carbs, and the little TORS box in front of the left side exhaust pipe.. you can see what the TORS is because the TORS system uses a black wire with a yellow tracer... if you unplug the box, clutch lever and carbs it'll work just dandy.... there may be a plug to the throttle box also.. if so unplug that too.... don't forget that if you change clutch levers your gonna need a parkign brake block off plate also....

oh and you can cut out all that TORS wiring if you ever have the wirign harness out... the TORS just grounds the TORS brain and that triggers a very low REV limiter..... i've cut out a few TORS systems in the past year.....

Yeah, the TORS on the blaster I have just has to go. It's so easy to do carb work on my banshee with the 28's on it, but just trying to get to them on the blaster is such a pain. I just left it hang there and clean it out the last time I had it apart.
