Default Dyno Plots

Here are some pics of the dyno results for my 97 and 98

The 97 is allegedly a Trinity ported and possibly stroked motor with T5's.
The 98 is a 4mm stroker with Redline Racing dune port on pump gas.

The 97 had some issues on the dyno with the ignition pickup, so it's in HP and Torque vs Speed, rather than RPM. Otherwise, the dyno printout starts at 6000 RPM.

impressive # especially for stock carbs on pump gas! im diggin the power curve on the 4 mill ,sure as hell makes a difference ,doesnt it? ,i bet it feels like a buttery smooth strong pull all the way to the top rpm ,doesnt look like it violently comes on at once . sweet post

difference is night and day between my stock motor with T5's, but i also gained close to 30HP

yes and no. i geared up to 15/41 and this motor has the torque to pull it on the sand, even up some impressive hills. so, once you hit that sweet spot on the torque curve, the acceleration is just insane. i'm really thinking about getting some different dome and running racing gas. basically, i'd gain about 5-7 HP through the entire curve from the dyno sheet Cameron showed me. we'll see soon enough...

whats your current head setup and comp? cut stocker ? coolhead? rechambered /cut stocker?

It's a Paul Turner coolhead with 21cc domes. He had to cut them for the longer stroke. I just can't get over how cheap banshees are to get horsepower compared to a 4 stroke. For another $100, I can pickup the extra horsepower by switching to racing gas. For about $400-500 net, I can pickup some cubs and increase by a whole bunch more.

i like those dyno numbers and id be thinking about some 18cc or 19cc stroker domes Odaen if it were me and some Keihin 33pwk carbs also... easy 80+ horsepower

there, you're talking a good 350-400 bones. if i spend that much, i'll just sell my jugs and buy cubs for the additional 150ish.

it's all irrelevant anyhow. i'm fresh out of $$

i wouldn't be dogging too much on my 97. T5's sign off way earlier than CPI's, i don't know what compression the domes are, if in fact it is a stroker, what kind of porting, etc etc. regardless of the above, look at the torque curve and tell me that thing doesn't come on strong....

yeah but the redline engine is cool for the fact thats it's not a triity engine. they are a f*ckign rip off....
