Default which yamaha is best 125 or 250?

im planning on getting a 250 and a 125. which year is the best besides brand new ones? which year had the most low end? or overall which year is better? any replies would be cool thanks

05' yz250 would obviuosly be the best im sure,but you can get the newest model yz250 you can afford, dont get a 125cc unless your like 100lbs or have little riding experiance. 250s offer alot more bottom end and jsut plain more punch for the money IMO

i'd say get the 250 regardless of your riding experience. my first bike was an RM125, and they are just a hard bike to ride period. they have no bottom end, and a power band that's basically a toggle switch. so your either wheelying, sideways, or shifting down another gear to get to the first 2 states.

Yea a 250 is easier to ride than a 125 but its also more powerful and faster.
