| when you use standard hardware store 2 cycle oil, what ratio do you use? I have an old yamaha dt 100 and I use 25:1 I'm getting some smoke but it seems to run fine just a little under par in power range , any suggestions? |

| I wouldn't use that oil at all, that kind of stuff is made for weedwackers and stuff, not for highperformance engines,

| even an old 100cc dt engine can benefit from the lubrication proertys of high quality oils ,your gonna notice a big difference i n start ups, revving, and plug fouling, oil mung build-up,and all around performance by simply switching to a 40-1 ratio on high quality good shit over that craftsman chainsaw/weedeater $.99 crap youve been hurting your engine with.
