burnt out packing on one stinger ???

just took my pipes off and one side has NO !! packing and the other has half to three quarters left....????? what would cause one side to completely burn out ?????? any help here ????

bad things happen to good silencers some times. how long before your last repack on these? also what brand we talkin about ?

stinger??? you mean silencer the stinger is the end piece of an expansion chamber.

yes connector between pipes.....it is an 04' bought it used....had stock pipes on it and they gave me the T'5 toomey's with it

thius is very common on t5s as well as blueing on the pipes mostly near the jugs
