| what kinda oil should i use for the transmission on my YZ 125? i aint asking for brand the type (10W-30). (10W-40) ? thanks |

| YAMALUBE 4 stroke oil is made for there 2 stroke trannys it says so on the back of the bottle. just run that and you cant go wrong its made by yamaha |

| Dont even run the 10w40 yamalube 2stroke premix oil is made for yamahas too and it sucks. Run a 75w gear oil like Bel-ray gearsaver 75w. Theres no need to run motor oil in a gearcase and a 75w gear oil is better for your tranny especially a 125 id take and im sure alot of people here would take a 75 or 80w gear oil over motor oil anyday.
