Dealers are pieces of SH*$ So I go to the Yamaha dealer today in order to trade in a 2005 Blaster that I bought in April of 2005 on a new YFZ-450. After sitting in the showroom for almost 3 hours waiting for some asshole to appraise a 3 month old quad that a 14 year old girl rode twice. The initial deal was the Blaster +$4,700 for the 450; the salesman comes back to me after the 3 hour appraisal with a number that made me choke $5,400. I asked him what happened to the original deal (4,700) and he proceeded to start "blowing smoke up my ass". He went on to say how the Blaster needed carb work; that was when I stopped him and said:
# 1 the fucking thing had 2 tank fulls of gas ran through it...ever
# 2 a new carb is $125 and that's performance
# 3 This is the best part...The Blaster is still under warranty!!
I didn't really care much about the extra $; it was the bull-shit line about the carb that pissed me off! So I put the Blaster back on my trailer went to the next Yamaha dealer spent $100 more and bought the 450. That SOB will never get business from me again.
