Default High Revs

I have a blaster with no mods and when i ride its fine but when i stop it keeps high revvs and i release the clutch a lil and the revvs go down and they dont come back up until i get on it a go but it just stays high revvs and then after like 10sec the revvs will drop any help will be appreciated.

sounds like the throttle cable may be sticking, or the choke may be stuck

i though about that but if the cable was stuck the revvs would go back up but they dont and the same with the choke they would go up after i stopped but they dont ill ride the clutch a lil to lower them and they dont go back up. i think it might be a head gasket or something.

check your carb boot for any air leak, it may be a slight lean rev, I'm not real sure as to what it could be but I'd check that

ok 1 of to things. 1st thing you have an air leak somewhere after the air filter.... which for that just oil up ur air filter so it seals good and tighten everything up. 2nd thing its ur air fuel mixture screw. its a lil screw on the left side of ur carb that i think has a lil spring on it(not sure blaster is down in the garage.) but this adjust the air fuel mixture for idling. wind it in the whole way and then wind it out 1 1/2 turns and see if it still over revs. then with the bike revving like that wind the screw in slowly to see if the revs go down. if you have to wind it in more than a 1/2 turn you need to go down 1 size on ur pilot jet.
