Banshee Jetting????

I have a stock banshee and I just added the 2 clip on K&N filters with the outerwears. I guess I need to rejet my carbs now. Can any one tell me what size jets I am going to need?

Run a new set of plugs and do a plug chop, Then you should be able to tell if its lean or rich, I'm sure someone else here can tell you more on the size jet you need to be at.

It idols fine and at high RPM reving it is fine. But it will die if I try and take off.

Check out Bens ATV page and go to jetting FAQ, this is buy far the best jetting info I've come accross it is the bible for jetting.
But if your going to start with something I would start with a 250 and go from there.

Oh ya, your gonna have to tweek your air screws, since your main jet works in the high rpm band not off idle.

I got it running good last night. I Just moved the needle postion down ans messed with the air screw. THANKS!!

your gonan ahbve to bump up the mains. take the pkug out and read tehm. i know for sure taht it's way rich. don;t ride it or you'll be replacing a topend. lean conditions give your pistons a sunroof lol

What should I bump up the mains to? And should I leave the needle in the stock position or leave it where I have it? What about the pilte jet?

i'd try bumping it up 2 sizes then ride for bout 10 mins then read teh plug. do you know how to read teh plug

I tried putting a 240 main in it last night and it runs like shit. I am tired of messing with it. I am just going to take it to the dealership.
