Stock Banshee w/ K&N Clip on Filters????

Will a stcok banshee with the clip on K&N's that replace the airbox do me any good. I know that new pipes with get the thing really going, but will the filters help at all?

The filters should help a little. Make sure you check you jetting and make sure you aren't to lean now. Just put in some new plugs and do a plug check. Let us know if you don't know how to read the plug.

I did that and repositioned the needle one down, and it seemed to help, but lost my top end. So then I bumped the main to a 240 and now it won't idle or run. I hate carbs....I am going to take it to a dealer to have them rejet.

all you have to do is jump up bout 2 sizes above were you were with the box and ride it for bout 15 mins and read the plug. when the plug is tan then your good to go. i wouldn't worry much about the needle. put that back where it was

what would 2 sizes be from a 200...a 220?

are you still running stock mikuni carbs??
if so you should try a 220. the reason you have no topend with the 240's is beacuse it's running rich up top. try some 220's and see what itr does. or pull the plugs out with the 240's and read tehm for color and burn. do you know what that means

anyway i saw that rule up there about havein to be outta the trails at 9pm. but when i was there about a month ago there were people riding until 1:30am. it seems that the rules aren;t very inforced around there. i have only been there once but i tihnk that haspin is a f*cking goldmine if they would pretty it up a bit. that and they need a shop with minimum quad and bike parts. of that guy with the trailer of part shold just be renting oine of the 15 building they have there. other than that they could make a killing if they had a pressure washer type deal for washing bikes and quads. hell at $4 a wash they'd be raking in the money!!! but all in all i love haspin. i'll be going back for sure. i'll let you know when i do but it probably won;t be until next year. i'm hittin silver lake in sep. and oct. and then the riding season will be about over and i'll go back to being depressed again j/k
