285cc Bore Kit

hey,I raced a blaster with a vitos kit and big carb on my old 81 250r atc and the blaster rider was about 125 lbs,and he always got smoked by many bike lenghts.but my nieghbors blaster has a CT big bore kit with their porting,and he is right next to me,until top top end.In my opinion I would get an older 250r and build it!As far as beating a craptor,my 81 250r gets em to the end of 4th gear,but thats it.my 85 of course kill em.not enough HP in any blaster motor to compete with the big boys.they are a blast to ride.ex on trails too!

hey man.. i got a 99 blaster with khein 28 mm PWK carb, vforce reed valves and works fron and rear shocks.. then all the little stuff, bars, twist throttle and all that.. i had it 60 over.. and i blew it up so i put a stock cyclinder back on.. now i have no compression in my enigne.. minimum compression is 130 and im runnin bout 80 and i was thinking bout puting the 240 big bore kit on.. im wondering if it runs good and starts first kick and all .. write back.. tom-- foreverinaday327@aol.com

yeah it runs so much better than a stock blaster...i blew it once so i bored it but ever since then it screams. the compression is so much better than with a stock blaster. you can hear how much better. definfitly get a big bore kit. I have a vitos with a vitos clutch and vitos block off kit and it kicks ass.
