Is A YZ250F Faster Then A KX125???

Me and my mate wan tto know if his yzf 250 would beat my kx 125 in a drag and also in a race around a track. Which one would take of faster and have higher top speed??

Depends on the rider IMO. Gearing too but mostly rider. Gearing for the drag race and rider for the track.

itll be close ...to bad they pulled about every trick yo u can to make the 250cc 4 poke run with a 125cc 2 stroke

i would say the 125 should edge out on top.. you would have to get a hell of a holeshot. otherwise you will be playing catch up.. i've raced a CRF450 with my yz and damn they have torque like non-other, but the 2 stroke has a higher rev..

Ok the kx 125 is a 94 and the yz250f is a 01, the KX125 is fully rebuild and has racing parts. Will this change anything

i agree. i hope the 2 stroke takes the win. but i know the 4 stroke 250 is faster then a 125. atleast a 06 crf 250 beats a 98 cr125 in a drag. i use to have a 98 cr125 and the crf 250 was faster to be completely honest. but now that i got my cr250 it will smoke the 450's. atleast i like to think so. just accelerates faster and si light but the 4 poke has more torque all around. iv yet to drag a crf450. ill have to soon enough. just recently dragged a yz125 bored and stroked to 165. but i passed him like he was standing still

if they were stock def the 250 but if the 125 has a few hopups like you say it could change the tune of the race
