 YZ 490 problem ok, I changed the clutch plates in my yz 490 put it back together put oil in it and when I am cranking it, it sounds like metal is grinding together from inside the clutch cover if some one has any information on this it would be helpful. | I cranked it up and rode it around for a couple of minutes, then it started making that metal rubbing together sound and it cut off, I know its not blown because it still has compression and its not locked up cause I can kick it. |

| I'd check to make sure you put the clutch pack together properly.

| My bike had the same problem.... on mine it was the clutch bearing.. check that |
