a stroker would mean that there is added stroke.. a long rod is just that a longer rod... so yeah you'd need a new crank that has a difernt rod pin location..

oh ok i kinda follow.so thats why a stroker sometime needs the cases to be trenched since the rod is rotating from a dif point on the crank..
