So...I've got a 2002 banshee. Totally stock. With about 2k to invest, right off the bat. What are your suggestions?

Ya just spent 2k and never touched the suspension or a-arms? Don't get me wrong I'm all about speed, but where's the fun at when you've got a rocket with a stock ride?

Yeah I still have the rear end to do on mine and shocks all around. The rear I figure is going to cost me 2K so that will be a next year thing to do. I might have to do front shocks soon I just noticed on of my shock is bent from when I crashed and bent my upper A-arm. It's not a bad bend just to the point where the spring rubs on the shock body. I will probably spent money this year on billet pieces to make it pretty. The shocks i want to get are the Works Triple rate w/Rezzy with the whole thing chrome. Oh yeah and a set of Fullbore plastics for when I go to shows so that they aren't all beat up.

That is why if I buy them they will only be for show. I figure when I get a set I am going to have something airbrushed onto them. I am also talking right now and thinking about the idea of chroming my frame. What do you guys think??

look at spending about 600-800 on that chrome frame. i think chrome frames are cool as hell. but they have one problem chrome is hard to take care of on something that gets dirty alot. thats why i like powder coat. if i was building a dune only quad then i'd get a chrome frame but unfourtunaly my quads see the mud and you can never get a quad totally clean after it sees mud and that means nasty looking welds if i had a chrome frame

Yeah the frame chroming might have to wait until this banshee gets retired to a show and drag quad only. I hopefully will be buying another banshee very soon. I want to own the last year they make it.
