!!HELP!! yz 250 clutch wont fully disengage

my buddies yz 250 when he is in gear with the clutch pulled bike still wants to move forward if he gives it gas it will slowly move forward. we opened the clutch and all the plats look just fine there is no gunk or metal flakes in it and fluid is still pink as new! we have adjusted the cable out fully to take up all slack possible no more adjustment in cable fittings. I was thinking it might be a stretched cable but the cable looks fine at both ends! NOW WHAT DO I DO???????? please help. thank You

grind down the fingers smooth in the clutch basket. the fingers that hold the clutches in line get grooves wore in them that make it hang up a little. you can grind them smooth and it will make it better. if they are too wore though you will need a new clutch basket to fix it.
