hello 2 stroke lover
check the timing as they said your stator back plate may have moved on you i have seen them lossen up screws back out and let it move also check the key in your mag to make sure it is not sheared throwing it out of timing i would also check my crank seals too. like they said the bike is around 30 years old the seal are due to be shot. i just done one for a friend of mine a few days ago crank seals were shot in it.
