Default Banshee A-Arms

I have American Star +3 +1 a-arms with stock suspension and rides great and soft for the trails since there is more leverage for the stock shocks. These are racing arms and have no grease points so after a while they'll become useless. I have 2 options. I was wondering if putting the stock a-arms is better or just getting new shocks for the arms I have ride them for a year then change back to the stock a-arms. I'd also like a good after market shock brand with stock length shocks that utilize +3+1 a-arms and are a good price.

im using asr a-arms and dont yours have the heim ball joints, yeah theres no grease fittings on them but as long as you keep them lubed up the upper mounts will last for a long time, mine are like 3 years old and still like new...and i just replaced all the ball joints there like 8 bucks a piece or something like that...so id say get some works shocks for plus 3 arms and youll be set...

ASR doesn't use grease joints so throw that worry out the window. ASR uses Heim Joints & they're dry.
I do have zerks on my a arms for the a arm mounts, just grease up the bolts & you're good.
So keep those Arms!

keep the arms your crazy man! they just need maintenance like everything else, you can go to a hardware store and buy some zerks for like 50 cents a peice , drill, tap and install them if your that worried,, or just unbolt the arms from the frame every winter , and greese up the insides and put em back on, not a big deal, and get some works A T steelers if your on a budget, they come in dual and triple rate, with or without res's, and different options as far as adjustability, you will love them, i think your crazy runnin stock shocks on +3 arms, you must be bottoming out everywhere

yes he does but if your willing to put 2k into the shocks go with pep
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ELKA-...mZ170195939907
these would work great with with the +3 +1 asr arms on there

or this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ELKA-...mZ180217807555

about 200$ cheaper

notice where he said ".. that are a good price.." .. that rules out Pep and elka. remember very very few p[eople race motocross, and even fewer even use these top of the line shocks to their potential.. you dont need to dump $1000- $1500 on 2 shocks to get a good riding banshee, too many people with overkill stuff that they dont even need..
