help getting parts for my bike

hey guys, my uncle just gave me what he told me is an old 1986 Yamaha IT 490. I cant find the vin on it, but the numbers on the motor are 4v600 465cm3. I have no clue what that means. But im not sure my uncle was right about the 1986 it 490 part cuz i cant find parts for my specific bike anywhere...its a pain i need a gas tank exhaust pipe and i think something is wrong with the clutch but im not sure. Can someone tell me where the vin is, and help me out with those numbers on the motor?

check by where the frame conects to the handle bars alot of models have it there. if it is up there it would be on the frame on the right side
