Default Yamaha 250 Twin
hi guys i just got a late 70's yamaha 2 stroke 250 twin of a guy in my neighborhood right now its seized up so i have oil in the top end with the heads off, any good ways to unseize this other than how i am? im also planning on putting this engine into a yamaha blaster cause its engines blown and this ones alright other than the seizure. any ideas of how much hp these things made?

That's awesome, a twin cylinder blaster?? Wow!!! I'm waiting on that build for sure!
What bike/quad does this motor come from? How bad is the seize? I would remove the head, flood it with PB Blaster!

yea it will be pretty cool once i get it fitted in there lol its a ds7 250 from what i know, pretty cool lol the blasters gunna have two exhausts.

im going to use the original pipes for now and put them at an angle along the chassis, im pretty sure they made rd250s but i dunno. right now i a combonation of auto trani fluid and nitro lol maybe that will unseize it.
