03 YZ250 shuts off

Problem: 03 YZ250, will start and idle, when you hit the throttle it will rev, after that it might run a little longer or it might just shut down. It will then fire up as soon as the engine stops turning. It stalls as if you pushed the kill button. Just cleaned the carb twice and still the same thing. NEED HELP! THX

weird..... adjust your idle! doesnt sound like you have it right. it shouldnt die if adjusted correctly!. .... do you know where you are with your jetting? cause if you do, post it.... i garauntee you someone will ask...... but i say you need to adjust your idle screw!

have u had the bike awhile? or did u just get it? added any new items? stuck float?

you say that it just shuts off at a high rev.. maybe but most likely not it i would check to make sure the coil wires (ground) are tight. you say it wont start back up untill the motor stop. (vibration stops)

oh yea... that was a good one! makes since too1 it wont start till the vib stops cause there is no contact...

Bike ran fine Firday, satueday is when it started the problem. It will idle, but it will shut off. It usually will run about 30 seconds then it like someone hit the kill button. You can twist the throttle when its dying and nothing will happen. Im thinking CDI or Coil?

check the connections, and make sure there is no paint on the grounds
